wow, with those proportions, standard Marines should have Toughness 5 and Wound 2^^

Nice, a lot better than that Sibbering guy who portrays them as thick as a tree. The only thing I think is a bit off is the head size, which looks like it should be slightly bigger and not just the size of a human head.

Otherwise, this is definitely one of the best size comparisons I've seen.

Head still feels too small to me, but other than that, solid work.

the heads are small the bodies are genetically mutated but the head stays the same

That seems unlikely to me [and kind of ridiculous]. ;p
Just a very small size increase on the head would make it look more proportionate to the enhanced body, and therefore [IMHO] more plausible.

Anyway, my :twocents:

Its fact mate read it on warhammer wiki.
& anyway its fantasy why does it need to be plausible.

Plausibility makes fantasy immensely more enjoyable for me.

Plus if given muscle growth hormones/ surgery, your head wouldn't grow along with your body.

I rather disagree, but I don't feel like arguing the point.

if its to plausable it starts moving from fantasy to reality, theyve got little heads & thats that!

Actually they don't have little heads. Read any of the Horus Heresy novels, and it describes how their heads are wider and larger than usual, giving them a brutish appearance than cannot be considered handsome.

So reading the creation process of the Astartes, I just learned that they can spit acid, learn the memories of stuff they eat and reproduce by means of an organ on their neck.
Like we all do, right?

It is so refreshing to see someone actual do the Space Marines in what are supposed to be their proper proportions. Giving them that imposing mass that makes them such super soldiers. Thank you so much for drawing this.

:iconthebigloulou:

A common misconception, the black carapace grows under the skin, not over it. Therefore it is almost invisible to the naked eye.

especially when you see some comics, but hey. That's what artistic freedom is for, but It would make more sense if it was planted under the skin, black "shirt" kinda looks dumb.
